Jazzy new track from the All Natural Inc. camp’s Eulorhythmics (Kenny Keys + Adad) featuring Eternia. What we have here is kind of an underground version of “Battle of The Sexes”, where two former lovers go at each other in a lyrical war of words. That last verse is pretty raw with the double entendres. [cont.]

Raw Koncept Records blesses us with a treat from Rah Digga’s upcoming album with producer Nottz, tentatively titled, Classic. However the label tells us that this track, “Warning Shots” will *not* be included on the full-length, which has been narrowed down to 11 raw tracks – no club/radio tracks, everything is hard – each produced [cont.]

Comedian Aziz Ansari is very, very upset with rappers. In perhaps the biggest dis record since Tim Dog’s “Fuck Compton”, Ansari lets just about every rapper know that he’s mad that they didn’t send him verses for his upcoming mixtape. We won’t spoil it, just download the MP3 below. Special cameo at the end from your favorite [cont.]

In an age where rappers make songs about cars they wish they owned, Joell Ortiz takes things back to reality. Gotta admit, the original track that he is copying here, Lloyd Banks + Juelz Santana’s “Beamer, Benz, Or Bentley” is a scorcher, but Joell’s version – “Nissan, Honda, Chevy” – is something we can all [cont.]

As always, you can expect an onslaught of remixes to accompany any Gorillaz single. While “Stylo” remixes have already started bombarding the house music scene, on this version, Philly’s Chiddy Bang jumps on, offering a more hip-hop feel to the original’s atmospheric style. Def is still in tact, but Bobby Womack is reduced to an [cont.]

Wow, never expected to find these three on a track together, but the formula works and defies expectations. Then again the two rappers have something in common… This is taken from Snoop’s all-too-soon re-release, More Malice, confusing audiences real soon. Snoop really needed another banger from his last record, and the relentless shoving of “I [cont.]

“It’s been a mufuckin’ minute niggas, how you been?” Ironically, the Hip Hop Frosty, Young Jeezy, decides to make his return during the last few days of Winter. The new track is called “Trap or Die 2 Reloaded” and is a departure from his usual formula as he spits three minutes of straight trap muzik, [cont.]

Janet’s latest is produced by Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins and goes for the modern afro-latin pop sound popularized by Pitbull the last couple of years. Pit appears here of course, although we’re not quite sure why he chose to interpolate “Watagatapitusbery” at this point in the game. Anyway, sounds like pretty standard club fare. Can’t see [cont.]

Some Yay Area heat from Fonzarelli and Too $hort, perhaps from 40′s upcoming Revenue Retrievin’ two-part album project due later this year. Thundering bassline packed with a female rap vocal sample propels this minimalist hyphy banger as the duo wax poetically about big booty hoes. And who doesn’t love big booty hoes? Wouldn’t call this [cont.]

News broke on this a while back, but maybe not to this demographic. You know MJB’s been through some shit, without even having to listen to her albums. I mean, Stronger With Each Tear? Anyway, this new Marley-Marl-remix-single-of “I Am” just surfaced. It’s almost a TV track, maybe there’s another vocal version of it somewhere, or maybe there’s a hot Red Cafe acapella someone can throw on top [cont.]

LMFAO blew the doors wide open for the whole electro-hop movement, now we have all kinds of similar group’s breaking through with a similar style. That stands for “Gold Chain Military Meets Alchemist”. This is kind of what rappers do when they can’t think of a title for their song with another artist. There was a lot of this after Gang Starr dropped “JFK to LAX” – people would be like, “Yeah sun, lets call this one ‘BK to LA’” [cont.]

They say the best art comes from misery, pain, and sadness, so given that the country, the industry, the streets are in such a wonderful position right now, we can expect a lot of good music to be coming out.
