Here’s that hip-hop mix, as promised. This was done about a month ago, but we kept running into scheduling issues with for the photo shoot. This mix is sort of a cross between what I do at XS on the weekends, and stuff that’s just good hip-hop – you can define for yourself what’s what. [cont.]

In the Fall of 1997, these incredible promo posters were sent out, featuring the labels strongest and most iconic members – LL Cool J, Method Man, Foxy Brown, Redman, and EPMD, as super heroes. Ten years after the release of Blackout!, Method Man and Redman are back with the sequel.  It’s a little hard to understand why they’ve taken this long, because aside from Method Man’s stint on HBO’s The Wire, neither of them has done anything worthwhile since.  They had a TV show, the cleverly titled Method Man [cont.]
