“Them That’s Not” puts every other double time / sped up flow track to shame, as he begins a normal pace, speeding up with the track. All gimmicks aside, J’s varying rhyme tempos actually reflect the “story of a brother named Castro”, that is told in the song. In the beginning of the song his career skyrockets to the top at lightning speed, matching the how fast J is rhyming, and by the end, things have slowed down significantly, illustrating his long fall down. Dope concept, and nice production with the Seven Heads jazzy flavor.
