Coming from Shabaam Sahdeeq’s Y2K release, Scandalous forthcoming on Rawkus Records, Sahdeeky brings the two joints. “Are You Ready” introduces the new breed of backpack thugs, as the production and lyrics are a little more rugged than what most Rawkus fans are used to. “Concrete” with Xzibit is a nice collabo, still remaining closer to the street than most previous Shabaam material, such as the Polyrhythm Addicts stuff. I’m feeling both sides of this 12″, and am looking forward to the LP.
