

Few artists in hip-hop have afforded the longevity that Sadat X has. Gearing up to release his 7th solo album, this one is sure to bring back the “Great Dot X” of his original Wild Cowboys album 1996 release. Unmoved by an inevitable changing of the guard in Rap, Sadat remains a beacon of true, un-facsimiled artistry. In so many words, he sits atop the lists of your favorite rappers favorite rapper. Part of the legendary hip hop group Brand Nubian, Sadat is well known for his politically charged lyrics and poignant delivery.
Wild Cowboys II has been long awaited and highly anticipated and will deliver raw hip hop to all. This album has brought so many together that wanted to take part in this classic historical sequel – which features some of hip hops finest: Kurupt, ILL Bill, Umi & M-1 of Dead Prez, Andre the Giant (A.G.), Rhymefest, Grand Puba, Lord Jamar and Twan. As well as a host of producers, including: 9th Wonder, DJ Spinna, Sir Jinx, Pete Rock, Diamomd D, Buckwild, Will Tell, Grant Parks and more.
Sadat continues to write innovative songs, deliver relevant contemporary commentary and effortlessly stays tuned to the trends of today. Having enjoyed an outstanding career in hip hop as one of the genres most distinctive voices, his undeniable twang has commanded songs not just with Brand Nubian but alongside our genres greatest from Jay Z, Notorious B.I.G., Nas and Common – to name a few. Extraordinary producers have also gone the extra mile for a good X verse – from The Neptunes, to Primo, to Madlib and Prince Paul.
