Not quite sure what the deal is with this one – it’s essentially a cover of a remix that jacks a classic – you can figure out the math from there. Snoop pretty much word-for-word regurgitates Cube’s original verses, while The Hustle Boyz take a break from hustling to do their best Das Efx impression, complete with “chiggeties”. The track is replay to mimic the original with subtle differences. The irony here is that the references to Boyz In The Hood and House of Pain beef don’t make any sense coming out of Snoop’s mouth in 2010. Origin is unknown, perhaps Priority Records will come back from the dead and release another In The Beginning… compilation. Next please.
