Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker recently spoke with MTV, revealing more details about his long-awaited solo album. The album is set to cross genres, working with a number of different artists, including RZA, Slash, Chester Bennington, Slipknot, and A-Trak, who he recently announced he’d be performing with on tour.

“RZA plays guitar on the track that will be on my record,” Barker told MTV. “It’s a live record — we were in a room together where everything was live. It reminds me of old Beastie Boys, like Check Your Head when they all started playing instruments again.”

In other news, Barker has also remixed Snoop’s “I Wanna Rock”, making it the fifth known remix of the song. “It’s done,” Barker said. “I hope people like it.”
