While originally slated for release on May 18, Grammy Award winner, Rhymefest, will unleash his highly anticipated El Che album on June 8, 2010 via dN|Be Entertainment.

Distributed by EMI, the full length LP features production from beatsmiths Scram Jones, S1, BKS, and Terry Hunter. The 16 track opus also boasts guest appearances from Little Brother, Saigon, Glen Lewis, and fellow Chicago emcee Twone Gabz.

Since going independent, the final delay of El Che is a testament to the efficacy of the project’s promotional efforts. Though El Che has been plagued with delays in the past, (due to former label woes), Rhymefest and new indie label dN|Be Entertainment vow there will be no further postponements. In reference to June 8th being the final release date for his sophomore effort, Rhymefest disclosed, “Of course I was weary when the distribution company sprung a new release date on me. But to guarantee that all of the fans that have been patiently waiting for El Che to drop get to purchase this album, I have to let EMI do its thing with the shipments.”

In anticipation of El Che’s release, dN|Be Entertainment has launched the interactive website ElCheTheMovement.com. Fans are encouraged to connect with Rhymefest through the website’s blog, videos, streaming music, mixtape downloads, and social networking links to Facebook and Twitter. Physical and digital pre-orders of El Che are currently available on ElCheTheMovement.com. Orders are guaranteed to be fulfilled through the site on June 8th.
