Mos Def will join Lenny Kravitz, Ani DiFranco, and a host of other artists for Gulf Aid, a benefit concert in support of those affected by the massive oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, reports the Associated Press. The benefit will be hosted by Rehage Entertainment, and will also feature Allen Toussaint, Zachary Richard, Jeremy Davenport and The Voice of the Wetlands Allstars, which features Dr. John and Cyril Neville. The concert takes place this Sunday in New Orleans at the Mardi Gras World River City. Tickets are $50 and proceeds will go to those that make their living via the Gulf, including fishermen, their families, and organizations that protect the coast of Louisiana.
