Bad timing? TMZ broke news today that T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Cottle were arrested in Los Angeles last night for the alleged possession of a controlled substance. Police say they followed the scent of marijuna coming from a Maybach T.I. was driving on Sunset Boulevard around 10:18PM, causing them to be pulled over and searched. Inside the vehicle, police say they found a controlled substance “in the class of methamphetamines and ecstasy”.

The just married couple couldn’t have timed this worse, as Tip is currently on probation after a seven year prison stint on federal weapons charges. The two were booked on a felony possession of a controlled substance. They were released last night at 4:00 AM on a $10,000 bail. Hopefully he doesn’t have to change his upcoming album title to King Re-Caged.
