The above video is all we can show you from DJ Shadow’s “Live From The Shadowsphere” tour, out of respect for the show itself, which truly can only be experienced on location. The “Shadowsphere” is literally the globe shown in the video, which is a spinning DJ booth laid against a larger video screen backdrop. Visuals are then projected on both the screen and the globe itself as Shadow spins live, rivaling the type of effects-driven show seen on Daft Punk’s “Alive 2007″ tour. The end result is a three dimensional tour-de-force that must be seen to be believed. Without spoiling anything, the sphere and screen behind it interact with one another creating an incredible, almost 3-D effect that is completely mind-blowing, all to the sounds of Endtroducing, The Private Press, The Outsider, and some new stuff as well.
