Pitchfork.tv on YouTube today presents a new mini documentary that follows Kendrick Lamar around Chicago during this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival. The doc shadows Lamar as he makes a Radio Run, in and around Chicago, doing press for his highly anticipated new record: good kid, m.A.A.d city, while in town for the Pitchfork Music Festival. He discusses his upcoming album, his collaborative project with J. Cole, and his very famous fan base. (Yes, there’s a cameo from Lady Gaga.) It also features his performance of “Swimming Pools (Drank)” at the festival.
