Tomorrow, September 18th, New York City rapper Double A.B. will release his new album, the collaborative effort with producer Dub Sonata, Media Shower. The album, being released via Man Bites Dog Records, is classic New York hip-hop – all deftly chopped samples, slick wordplay, and vivid storytelling – and includes features from the likes Roc Marciano, Evidence, Cannibal Ox, and Rhymefest. Also featured on the album are Sean Price and Scram Jones, both of whom show up on the latest single from Media Shower,”Some Bullsh!t.”

“Some Bullsh!t” is easily one of the most fun, lighthearted tracks from Media Shower, with an upbeat, horn, string, and clap-driven instrumental courtesy of Dub Sonata. The three rappers, for their part, trade wordplay heavy verses – “Swing blades with young Tyson-fade skills/ Treat your skin like the plastic tops of microwave meals,” raps Double A.B.; “Ni**as cut corners in order to look good/ Me – I cut ni**as in order to look hood,” counters Sean Price. The video, directed by Steven Tapia, is just as fun as the song, with the three rappers tipping back shots and wreaking havoc at a local nightclub.
